A call for cab

I've been meaning to write about this mind-tingling experience I've had while trying to catch a cab from Damansara Perdana to my office. As I dialled up the cab company contact number, and uttered my usual telephony greeting 'Hello', I spoke to a person which I had assume to be an elderly man, and asked if he could send in a cab to pick me up and drive me to my office.

Ramblin dude: Hello?
Cab company elderly guy: Yes, what can I do for you?
Ramblin dude: Yes, could you send a cab to pick me up from Damansara Perdana to HP Tower, Damansara Heights?
Cab company elderly guy: Ok, what is the name of the place in Damansara Perdana do you want our cab to pick you up from?
Ramblin dude: Er. Well, I'm at this place, called 'The Place'.
Cab company elderly guy: Eh, don't you dare play tricks on me ah..
Ramblin dude: Sir, I'm not playing tricks on you, I am now standing in front of this building block called 'The Place'.
Cab company elderly guy: Haiya, you young people think you are so clever ar? Think you go to college and universities, you think you are so clever ah?!?
Ramblin dude: (Ended the call)

After that brief confrontational stint I've had with cab company elderly guy, I've had to resort to give another cab company a call, and asked for a cab to pick me up from Emerald Condo, which was quite far from where I was earlier prior to making the initial call to the first cab company.

Back to where I started, huh.
